Creation Accelerates Nationwide Expansion with Key Executive Appointments

Creation Names COO Alex Bez and CIO Eric Boyd as it Advances New Markets and Verticals

Creation is advancing its nationwide growth strategy with the appointment of Alex Bez as chief operating officer and Eric Boyd as chief investment officer, reinforcing the firm’s leadership team as it scales into new markets and investment verticals.

In just six years, Creation has grown from having a single logistics project in West Phoenix into a national real estate force, operating from headquarters in both Phoenix and Dallas with an East Coast office in Tampa. With projects underway across eight states and a development pipeline exceeding $4.4 billion, the firm continues to strengthen its footprint nationwide. The addition of Bez and Boyd marks a pivotal step in strengthening Creation’s leadership and advancing its vision for sustained growth and diversification.

“As we continue to evolve, strong leadership remains essential to preserving the quality, creativity and discipline that define Creation,” said David Sellers, co-founder of Creation. “Alex and Eric embody the mindset that drives our company forward — seeing opportunity where others see limits and elevating how we execute and deliver across every market.”

Bez, who joined Creation more than three years ago, has been instrumental in launching the firm’s mixed-use platform, driving its growth in Texas and developing and implementing a number of the firm’s processes and procedures. Previously a principal for the firm, he has been promoted to chief operating officer and will oversee execution across all markets and asset classes, ensuring the platform continues to meet the high standards of Creation, its investors and its tenants. Before joining Creation, Bez spent seven years with J.P. Morgan Asset Management, where he served as the market leader for the Southwestern United States. Bez’s experience across markets and product types, as well as various segments of Creation’s business, will continue to ensure operational success as the company scales.

Boyd joins Creation as chief investment officer following 19 years with CrossHarbor Capital Partners, where he served as partner and co-portfolio manager of the firm’s Opportunity Fund business. During his time at CrossHarbor, Boyd executed debt and equity investments in greater than $3 billion of capitalized transactions across 10 distinct sectors and played a key role in expanding CrossHarbor’s national platform. Boyd’s prior experience in real estate and investment banking with Banc of America Securities and J.P. Morgan Securities adds to his expertise in structuring, capital formation and institutional partnerships. This background will support Creation’s continued advancement as the company extends into new markets and investment sectors, following its recent move into Florida and planned entry into Nashville in 2026.
